Stand in any tyre shop and you will see a big price gap between the famous premium names and a budget tyre in the same size. It is fair to ask whether the premium tyre is worth it, or whether you are simply paying for a badge.
At Saeedi Pro we fit tyres from every tier, every day. Our honest view is that the best tyre brand depends on your car, your driving and our climate, and for most UAE drivers our recommendation is NEXEN Tire: premium Korean engineering that balances performance with value.
Quick Answer: There is no single best tyre brand in the UAE for every car, but our recommendation for most drivers is NEXEN Tire. It is an original equipment supplier to Porsche, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, GSO certified for the region and RFID tagged. Whatever you choose, buy the correct size and rating, made recently.
- NEXEN Tire is the tyre brand Saeedi Pro recommends for most UAE cars.
- Tyres broadly fall into premium, mid-range and budget tiers, but the badge alone tells you little.
- Compare specific models using label grades or independent tests.
- In UAE heat, a recent manufacture date matters whichever brand you buy.
What is the difference between premium, mid-range and budget tyres?
The difference is mostly in research, materials and consistency. Premium makers invest heavily in rubber compounds and tread designs. Mid-range brands use proven technology at a lower cost. Budget brands focus on price, and quality can vary more from one model to the next.
Here is how the main options compare, with examples of brands we stock at Saeedi Pro.
| Brand or tier | Example brands | Strengths | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Our recommendation | NEXEN Tire (N’Blue, N’Fera, Roadian) | Premium Korean engineering, OE supplier to Porsche, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, GSO certified, RFID tagged, 2-year manufacturing warranty at Saeedi Pro | Most cars, SUVs and 4x4s, from daily commuting to fast highway driving |
| Premium | Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Continental | Refinement, consistent quality, wide range of sizes and specialist tyres | Drivers who want a specific premium model for their car |
| Mid-range | Yokohama, Dunlop | Good balance of price, comfort and life from established makers | Family cars and daily commuters |
| Budget | Triangle, MRF | Lowest purchase price from recognised manufacturers | Lower-mileage city cars and tight budgets |
The table describes typical positioning, not a guarantee. A specific model from any brand can be better or worse than its tier suggests, which is why it pays to look at measured data.
Why do we recommend NEXEN Tire tyres?
NEXEN Tire is a Korean tyre maker sold in more than 150 countries, with factories in Korea, China and the Czech Republic. Car makers including Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW fit NEXEN Tire tyres as original equipment, and NEXEN Tire ranked first in the ACE Lenkrad summer tyre test 2021. That is premium engineering, not a budget alternative.
For UAE drivers, NEXEN Tire tyres are GCC Standardization (GSO) certified and RFID tagged for authenticity and traceability. At Saeedi Pro they come with a 2-year manufacturing warranty and free wheel alignment with a set of four. You can see the range and ask for a NEXEN Tire tyres price on our NEXEN Tire tyres page.
How can you compare tyre brands fairly?
Look for measured results rather than marketing. The EU tyre label grades tyres sold in Europe on rolling resistance, wet grip and noise. The European Commission notes that one wet grip class can mean an extra 3 to 6 metres of stopping distance, and one rolling resistance class can mean around 80 litres of fuel over a tyre’s life.
Where the same tyre model is also sold in Europe, its label is a useful guide even here. Independent magazine tests add more detail. Use both to compare specific tyre models, rather than assuming every tyre from one brand performs the same.
Are budget tyres safe in UAE heat?
Budget tyres from recognised manufacturers are generally safe when they are the right size, correctly rated and in good condition. The concern is with unknown brands, where quality is harder to judge and there is little test data to go on.
Heat is the extra factor here. Our climate is hard on rubber, as we explain in our guide to how heat and UV damage tyres, so the gap between a well-made tyre and a poor one can show sooner. Whatever you choose, buy recent stock and keep pressures correct.
Which tyre is right for your car?
Match the tyre to your car, your driving and your budget. Many customers ask about Michelin first, and it remains a strong premium choice; you can see it on our Michelin tyres page. For most drivers, though, NEXEN Tire gives premium-grade engineering and the backing of a local warranty, which is why it is our recommendation.
Whichever you pick, Continental’s tyre buying guide advises matching the size and specification your car maker recommends, checking the load and speed rating, and fitting the same tyre model on all four wheels where possible.
Here is something worth knowing as a car owner. Every set of four tyres at Saeedi Pro comes with four services included at no extra cost: wheel balancing, wheel alignment, tyre rotation and nitrogen filling. That matters because a tyre is only as good as the way it is fitted and set up, and those four jobs are exactly what make a new tyre last and stay safe in the heat. It applies to every tyre brand we stock. You can see the current deals on our tyre offers page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the best tyre brand in the UAE?
There is no single winner for every car, but our recommendation for most drivers is NEXEN Tire. It supplies original equipment tyres to Porsche, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz, is GSO certified and RFID tagged, and comes with a 2-year manufacturing warranty at Saeedi Pro.
Q: Is NEXEN Tire a premium tyre brand?
Yes. NEXEN Tire is a Korean maker sold in more than 150 countries and an original equipment supplier to luxury car makers including Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. It combines premium engineering with good value, which is why we recommend it.
Q: What are the best budget tyre brands?
Stick to budget tyres from recognised manufacturers, such as Triangle and MRF, rather than unknown names with no track record. Check the size, load and speed rating match your car, and ask to see the manufacture date before the tyres are fitted.
Q: Can I mix tyre brands on my car?
It is best to fit the same tyre model on all four wheels. If you only replace two, keep matching pairs on the same axle and ask us where they should go, because mixing very different tyres can affect handling and braking.
Q: Do tyres wear out faster in the UAE?
Heat, sun and long highway runs are hard on rubber, so tyres here need regular checks. Keep pressures correct, rotate tyres on schedule and check the date code, because an older tyre can need replacing before the tread is worn out.
